Motorola has just taken the wraps off its 2026 Razr lineup. This includes the Razr 2026, the Razr Plus 2026, the Razr Ultra 2026, and the new Razr Fold. Obviously, Motorola has been teasing the Razr Fold since CES, so we pretty much knew everything we needed to know about the Razr Fold already. But the flip Razrs do get some nice upgrades this year.
You can check out our Razr 2026 specs, but there aren’t a lot of changes this year on the spec sheet. The biggest update among the three devices is the move to Silicon-Carbon. Motorola is using Silicon-Carbon batteries across the entire Razr lineup this year. From the Razr 2026 to the Razr Fold. This is part of what allowed Motorola to put in larger batteries in frames that are the same size or slightly thinner.
Motorola Razr gets some massive Google Photos integrations
Google is no stranger to launching new features on partner devices. And now Google is doing this again with Google Photos. Motorola is getting two new features, later this Summer, including Daily Drops.
Daily Drops is built by Motorola, and it looks a lot like Samsung’s Now Briefing, which they debuted last year. It brings in news you might be interested in, weather, and it also has Google Photos support. So you can see your memories in your Daily Drops. This is the first third-party app to bring in Google Photos.
The other feature is Wardrobe. Essentially, Google Photos will be able to take your clothing items and organize them into a wardrobe, giving you a digital wardrobe to browse instead of your closet. Giving you some inspiration and signature styles.
