If you’re interested in the first Googlebooks that are coming our way, we have a treat for you today. We’re bringing you images of all three Googlebooks that are expected to become official later this month.
Check out Googlebooks from Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo
The Googlebooks in question are coming from Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo, and you can see them in the gallery below. The first image shows them all in one shot, while there are three additional images dedicated to each of the three laptops.
You’ll notice that each of these devices has the so-called Glowbar on the lid. That’s a colorful LED strip that will be located on every Googlebook, it would seem. It kind of revives the classic rainbow design from the Chromebook Pixel that arrived in 2013.
You’ll also notice that each of the three devices is quite thin, while all three of them have quite a few ports on the left side, as that’s the only side that we’re seeing here. You’ll get more on the right side, of course.
This is not the first time these three devices have surfaced, though. We exclusively showed you the design of the Lenovo Googlebook back in early August. Following that, its full spec sheet appeared. It will include a 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED display and be powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 325, amongst other specs.
Acer confirmed, during IFA 2026, that its first Googlebook is “coming soon”, and prior to that, in August, the device surfaced with its specs. It will include a 14-inch OLED panel and offer configurations with both the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355 processors.
You’ll be able to pre-order these devices starting on September 21
Google has confirmed that pre-orders for the first Googlebook laptops will kick off on September 21. In addition to the three companies we’ve mentioned, other companies are expected to show their Googlebooks at some point later this year. That goes for HP and Dell, at the very least.
It is also worth noting that Lenovo is making a Googlebook 2-in-1 tablet, which we’ve also shown you back in August.
