OnePlus is getting a 120W power bank and a new 120W charging brick. We’re looking at a dual-port power bank, actually, and a dual-port GaN charger with the same output of 120W.
OnePlus has two new 120W accessories, and one of them is a power bank
OnePlus has listed both of these accessories. The first one is called the OnePlus SuperVOOC 120W Power Bank, while the other is called the OnePlus 120W SuperVOOC Dual-Port GaN charger. These are basically rebranded accessories from OPPO.
Now, let’s talk about the power bank first, as it’s more interesting. It offers a 15,000mAh battery capacity, which is plenty. Despite that, it’s not too big or anything like that. The fact that it can provide a 120W output is impressive.
Not only will it be able to charge the OnePlus 15 at full speed, for example, but it’ll also be capable of recharging high-power devices, such as laptops and handheld gaming consoles.
The power bank has both USB-C and USB-A ports
As mentioned earlier, it has two ports, one if a USB Type-C port, while the other is a USB-A port, so you’re covered either way. The Type-C port doubles as both an input and an output port, while the USB-A is only an output port.
This power bank will also have four LEDs at the top, which will show you the remaining battery level. It will also show you a charge level when it’s connected and charging. It seems like it will be available in one color only, with a white body and a red top. The color is called ‘Accelerated Red’.
What about the charging brick? Well, it’s a successor to the OnePlus 100W Compact SuperVOOC GaN Charger, which arrived last year. It has the same bottle shape, and a foldable wall plug is also built into it.
The charging brick has only USB-C ports
This charger has two ports as well, but not the same ones as the power bank. It has two USB Type-C ports, so no USB-A port. We’re not sure if both ports are capable of a 120W output, though; there’s no info on that just yet.
Do note that OPPO’s version of these two accessories comes in two color variants, so who knows, OnePlus could end up offering more colors as well. In any case, both of them are listed in China, for now. It remains to be seen if they’ll become available elsewhere.
