OPPO has decided to share some camera samples from the Find X9 Ultra flagship, as we’re waiting for the launch of that phone. The device will become official tomorrow, by the way, on April 21.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra camera samples are here, directly from the company
Let’s get straight to it. The images in the gallery below have been taken with the phone’s 200-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera, on top of which OPPO placed its 300mm teleconverter, which is also coming tomorrow.
As you can see, there are four camera samples in there, which have been taken during two football (soccer) matches in the UEFA Champions League last week.
The original images are available on OPPO’s Weibo page, and they look great, to say the least. OPPO’s 300mm teleconverter provides over 3x optical zoom, plus the 3x zoom the 200-megapixel telephoto camera offers on its own. There’s basically nothing to complain about when it comes to these shots.
OPPO also collaborated with a well-known YouTuber
OPPO also collaborated with UnboxTherapy, a YouTuber, to show off the OPPO Find X9 Ultra’s 10x optical zoom. The phone has a second periscope telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel one, with 10x optical zoom.
Those camera samples are available below, and have been taken at the Great Wall of China. Do note that these samples are available in for of a video screenshot, so take that into account.
OPPO obviously wants everyone to know that the Find X9 Ultra has great zoom capabilities. Two capable periscope telephoto cameras, plus the 300mm teleconverter, which will be sold separately.
We already know what camera hardware will OPPO use
As a reminder, we already know the camera sensors OPPO is using. Sony’s LYT-901 sensor will be used as a main camera, that’s a 1/1.12-inch 200-megapixel unit. A 200-megapixel OmniVision OV52A sensor will be used for a 3x periscope telephoto camera, a 1/1.28-inch sensor.
Samsung’s ISOCELL JNL sensor, a 50-megapixel one, is used for a second periscope telephoto camera, the 10x one. That’s a 1/2.75-inch sensor size. The last camera on the back is a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit, and Sony’s LYT-600 sensor is used, a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
