The seventh One UI 9.0 beta update has just arrived for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. The size of the update is 1.28GB, and the firmware version it brings is S94xBXXU4ZZHK.
One UI 9.0 Beta 7 is now rolling out to the Galaxy S26 series with three changes
This update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. There are three changes listed in the official changelog, though the first one kind of splits into multiple changes.
The first change listed is the new AI features that have been added. Samsung confirmed that My FanCam arrived on the phones with this update. It makes it easier to capture and share standout moments, as it can keep the selected person in focus.
Now Brief is also a part of the AI update section, as it is now improved. It builds on the personalized experience by bringing useful information and recommendations together in customizable “cards tailored to users’ routines, interests and daily needs, while also providing security and privacy insights that highlight potential risks and recommended protective actions.”
The second change mentioned improved intermittent device rebooting in specific situations. On the previous beta build, reboot issues were a thing, it seems, which is why this fix has been issued.
The update is rolling out globally
And last, but not least, Samsung improved usability of ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode. That’s it as far as this update is concerned. The update is now rolling out globally; it’s not limited to one region. Europe, India, and South Korea have all been confirmed, and users in the US are also supposed to be getting it today.
You can manually check whether the update is available by going to Settings -> Software update -> Check for updates. Needless to say, you need to be running the beta software on your device; otherwise, you won’t get the update.
As per usual, we have to warn you about running beta software, though. If you’re using your device as a daily driver, staying on a stable build is the best course of action. This may be the seventh One Ui 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series, but it’s still beta software and thus has its issues. The stable build is right around the corner.
