The size of the Motorola Razr Fold 2026 is one of its biggest selling points, as it is Motorola’s first-ever book-style foldable. So if you’re thinking about pulling the trigger on this thing, you’ll want to know exactly what you’re putting in your pocket.
When unfolded, the Razr Fold 2026 measures 160.05 x 144.47 x 4.55mm. That 4.7mm thickness when open is genuinely impressive – it’s basically book paper thin. Fold it shut, and it bumps up to 160.05 x 73.6 x 9.89mm, which is a hair thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at 8.9mm closed, but still pocketable. It weighs 243 grams, which is on the heavier side, but for a device with this much screen real estate, it’s expected.
Now for the screens. The inner display is an 8.1-inch LTPO P-OLED panel running at 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and a ridiculous 6,200 nits of peak brightness. The cover display is a 6.6-inch pOLED that’s basically a full phone-sized screen on its own. Both are larger than what Samsung and Google are offering on competing foldables, which is a real flex from Motorola here.
Specs, Pricing, and Availability
Under the hood, you’re getting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is the largest in any US foldable right now, with 80W TurboPower charging that delivers 12+ hours of use in under 10 minutes. There’s also a triple 50MP camera setup with a Sony LYTIA 828 main sensor, IPX9 water resistance, and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3.
The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 price is $1,899, which undercuts the Galaxy Z Fold 7 by $100 (or $300 if you want to really compare apples-to-apples and compare it to the 512GB model). Pre-orders open May 14, with general availability hitting May 21. And honestly? For a first-gen book-style foldable from Motorola, this thing is shockingly polished.
