Infinix, a name that’s usually known for its smartphones, has launched the GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station. The company is calling them its “flagship gaming peripherals of the year.” The GT NX Series will give mobile gamers a more immersive, console-like experience, with physical controls, better cooling, and other features to make gameplay more precise and responsive.
Infinix GT NX Controller packs physical controls and an ergonomic design
The GT NX Controller mimics the precision of touchscreen controls. It features the “world’s first” Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad in a mobile gaming controller. It also aims to offer mouse-like accuracy in mobile FPS games. The controller has an “esports-grade” three-chip system for low-latency performance, with two chips in the left handle and one in the right. Infinix says its Direct Connect technology delivers millisecond-level response times.
The controller offers 22 hours of battery life. It also supports three-level haptic intensity adjustment in XArena, which Infinix describes as “handheld-console-grade.” It gets an ergonomic, anti-slip design, which makes longer gaming sessions more comfortable. The NX Controller supports phone clamping, desktop clamping, and portable single-hand play.
Dynamic RGB lighting
Meanwhile, the Infinix GT NX Station is a 9-in-1 expansion dock with built-in TEC cooling to help prevent overheating and thermal throttling. It supports Universal Extend or Mirror on any compatible screen. This will allow gamers to cast mobile gameplay onto monitors or TVs and move from small touchscreens to large-screen gaming.
It also features Dynamic RGB Lighting. It packs a full suite of 9-in-1 ports: HDMI Port, RJ45 Ethernet, 2 USB-A Ports, USB-C Host Cable, USB-C, USB-C PD Input, microSD Card Slot, and also a 3.5mm audio jack. The wired Ethernet helps to avoid lag from unstable Wi-Fi, and the PD pass-through charging keeps your phone on during long gaming sessions. Gamers can also connect keyboards, headsets, and storage drives.
