A rather interesting new report has surfaced, which brings good news for fans of Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold. According to the report, the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 could launch earlier than expected, and the iPhone Duo could be the reason why.

This information comes from Lanzuk, who said that Samsung is “considering” an early “Galaxy Z TriFold 2” launch. That’s not the only phone that will be released early, though; it seems something even more exciting is coming.
You may remember a report from back in July, which stated that Samsung’s slideable phone could launch before the Galaxy Z TriFold 2. Well, it seems like that device could also come a bit sooner than expected, along launch alongside the company’s tri-fold.
They’re coming in 2027, but we don’t know when exactly
Both of those devices are seemingly still coming in 2027, but earlier than expected. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when in 2027 they will arrive, as no specific time was mentioned, not even which half of the year.
What the post does say is that the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 will be “thinner, lighter, and more durable” than the first-gen model. Samsung is aiming to keep the price of the phone “nearly identical” to what the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 cost.
As a reminder, the Galaxy Z TriFold cost $2,899 at launch, which is a lot of money. Still, it would be a feat if the company manages to keep that price tag with component prices running rampant.

No additional info has been shared regarding the company’s slideable phone, though. That device, in case you’re unaware, is said to have a display that expands in size. Slideable phones are also known as rollable devices, and not a single one is available in the market.
LG did make one, but just as the company was about to launch it, LG decided to ditch smartphones altogether. That device did surface a number of times since then, as some people managed to get their hands on it, but it never became a product users could buy.
