If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, you should know that a new Harry Potter-themed Android smartphone is coming. This one is coming from realme, and it’s a special edition version of the realme 16 Pro.
A new Harry Potter smartphone is coming, this time from realme
The phone will be called the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, and the company showed us its design. We’ll talk about that in a minute, but before that, it’s worth noting that this is not the first Harry Potter smartphone, not at all. Back in 2024, Xiaomi released one as well, but the new one has a much more exciting packaging.
It will arrive in a limited-edition gift box which is styled like Harry’s well-known trunk. You can see that box below. This box contains a “Hogwarts Welcome Pack”, which includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter and a train ticket. Realme confirmed that only 5,000 units of the gift box will be available to purchase.

Now, the phone itself comes with a brown back finish, as you can see below. That is a leather texture you’re seeing, and it has an argyle pattern. Realme says that this has been inspired by the wizards’ chess scene from the movies.
There’s also a large Hogwarts crest in the middle of the phone’s back, along with the Harry Potter wordmark below it. Right below that, you’ll find realme’s branding, as expected.
The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 6,500 nits of peak brightness. MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Max chip will fuel it, while a 7,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package. You’ll be recharge the device rather fast thanks to 80W fast wired charging.
On the back, you’ll find a 200-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera will be included. We know that as the realme 16 Pro arrives back in January.
