A well-known tipster has just shared a true-to-scale size comparison between Samsung’s upcoming foldables and the company’s current flagship. In other words, it’s a size comparison between the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra & S26 Ultra pose side-by-side to show their size differences
If you check out the image below, you’ll see all three phones in that order. You’ll notice that both foldables are folded here, and you’ll also notice considerable differences in size here.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is notably taller and narrower than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and slightly shorter and narrower than the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is easily the widest one here, and also the shortest.
All three phones have flat displays, and there’s a centered display camera hole on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as well as on the cover displays of the company’s upcoming foldables. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is missing here, of course.
As a reminder, Samsung is expected to announce three of its foldables later this month. July 22 is rumored, as an event in London has been mentioned. Samsung did not confirm that just yet, so stay tuned. As a reminder, we recently shared the official cases for all three of Samsung’s upcoming foldables.
The Android Headlines Take
Looking at the image that Ice Universe shared, we just can’t help but be excited for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. That phone sure does look like it’s going to be great for one-handed use, not to mention for multimedia consumption, both horizontal and vertical (when unfolded). On top of that, running apps side-by-side on its main display will be great due to its width.
It’s a shame the tipster did not include the Galaxy Z Flip 8 in this image as well, as that phone would show even more diversity in the company’s lineup. Samsung has something for everyone.
