Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy Tab S12 series soon, likely within the next month or so. Which means the rumor and leak mill is ramping up, and today we have pricing leaks from Europe for the new Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra models. Spoiler alert: they’re getting price increases too.
This info comes from Winfuture, which has a pretty good reputation for leaks, and their info shows that the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus will start at €1299 for 12GB/256GB, with the 512GB model going up to €1499.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will start at €1539 for 12GB/256GB, and the 512GB model will be €1739. The 5G models of both tablets are about €150 more expensive than the Wi-Fi-only models.
These are pretty big price increases in Europe, with the Galaxy Tab S10+ being about €180 cheaper. Keep in mind that for the Galaxy Tab S11, Samsung did not launch a Plus model, just the base and Ultra. And on the Ultra, we’re looking at a €200 price increase here.
These are European prices, so they could be a bit cheaper in the US, but don’t expect a major price decrease.
Why is the Galaxy Tab S12 so expensive?
As you likely know, the RAM crisis is hitting everything, and it’s hitting Samsung especially hard. In fact, its mobile division posted its first quarterly loss, with most of its expenses going to another Samsung division, LSI, for RAM and storage costs.
Samsung had to raise prices on the Galaxy S26 lineup and its Galaxy Z8 series this year, as well as on other products that were already available. So seeing more price increases on its new tablets is not surprising. We’ll have to wait and see how much the prices go up on the Galaxy Tab S12 series here in the US.
