Samsung is quietly working on its next Fan Edition smartphone. Now, a series of regulatory filings indicates that an official debut is drawing closer. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE recently surfaced on the UL Demko certification database, providing solid evidence regarding its battery capacity and fast charging capabilities.
As originally reported by 91Mobiles, the UL Demko listing links Samsung as the manufacturer and registers a full family of model numbers. The list includes SM-S741W, SM-S741U1, SM-S741U, SM-S741B/DS, SM-S741B and SM-S741N.
Electrical ratings in the database specify charging profiles of 15.0V at 3.0A or 10.0V at 4.5A. This confirms support for 45W wired charging (Super Fast Charging 2.0). For reference, that matches the charging speed of last year’s Galaxy S25 FE while surprisingly outpacing the standard base Galaxy S26, which remains capped at 25W.
Geekbench benchmarks and performance scores
This regulatory filing follows earlier Geekbench benchmark runs for the SM-S741U model variant. Those test results revealed that the device runs Android 17 alongside 8GB of RAM and a 10-core Exynos 2500 processor. The chip posts performance scores of 2,426 in single-core testing and 8,004 in multi-core evaluation.
Expected hardware setup and pricing outlook
Building on the established “flagship-lite” formula, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to retain a similar balance of practical features seen in its predecessor. The S25 FE carried a 190-gram body and a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. There is also a 4,900mAh battery and 128GB of base storage. This sets clear expectations for the upcoming model.
If Samsung follows its traditional launch calendar, the Galaxy S26 FE should launch around September. That said, persistent memory chip shortages driving up global component costs could push retail prices higher. There are already some projections estimating a potential price increase of 30% or more.
