Asus expanded its lineup of health-focused hardware by launching the VivoWatch 6 Plus. Instead of chasing the traditional rugged sports demographic, this new iteration focuses on long-term preventive health monitoring by pairing medical-grade sensor technology with a sleek, high-end design.
Asus VivoWatch 6 Plus features Titanium case and sapphire glass
The new smart watch brings a noticeable hardware upgrade over the older iterations in the series. Asus traded the smaller layouts of its predecessors for a larger 1.43-inch AMOLED display. To ensure durability for daily wear, the screen features protective sapphire crystal glass. All the hardware is housed within a lightweight titanium alloy casing.
On the hardware side, the device uses a combination of electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors to keep tabs on heart rhythms and cardiovascular patterns. What makes this system particularly useful for general consumers is its ability to track blood pressure trends directly from the wrist without requiring a traditional, restrictive arm cuff. To provide an even broader view of a user’s physical condition, Asus added specialized tracking for gait movement and sleep breathing analysis. There are also standard tools for blood oxygen levels, skin temperature, and stress tracking.
A personalized coach on the wrist
The real distinction lies in how the device handles your biometric history. Rather than throwing an overwhelming and confusing wall of raw numbers at you, the wearable feeds this data into an integrated, AI-powered wellness coach. This digital assistant studies your daily habits, recovery rates, and stress patterns over extended periods. Then, it offers highly personalized advice on how to improve your lifestyle choices.
According to Asus, this data can also bridge directly into the broader ecosystem of the manufacturer, including their specialized healthcare platform and diagnostic imaging utilities. Despite keeping these sensors running continuously in the background, the watch delivers a multi-day battery life, meaning you will not have to charge it every single night.
Asus has not officially revealed the retail pricing or regional release dates for the VivoWatch 6 Plus.
