Now that the Apple Watch Ultra 4 is out, a lot of potential buyers are going to be wondering about the specs of the new watch in Apple’s Ultra lineup. There are some key specs that Apple didn’t change, such as the size of the watch and the display, or the design, or the amount of storage. However, Apple did improve things like the battery life, which now lasts significantly longer compared to the Watch Ultra 3, and the watch comes with a new chipset to power the new features.
The new chip is the S11 running on WatchOS 27, and the watch has 64GB of storage which is the same amount Apple had in the Watch Ultra 3. Apple doesn’t list the amount of RAM for the watch, though. The screen size is still 1.9 inches and the dimensions are 49mm for the watch size just like previous models. As for weight, the Watch Ultra 4 is 63g for the Natural Titanium finish and 63.1g for the Black Titanium finish.

When it comes to charging speed, users can expect the same speeds as previous models. Apple says it’ll charge to 80% from 0% in about 45 minutes. The display has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and it’s covered by Sapphire Crystal glass for protection. Compatibility hasn’t changed, as it will work any iPhone model that is at least an iPhone 11 or later.
As for pricing and release, Apple hasn’t changed the price either. Instead of increasing the price of the Apple Watch Ultra 4, it will still cost $799, or $100 extra for a total of $899 if you choose the Titanium Milanese band instead of the three other options. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is already up for pre-order, and will officially launch on September 18, with availability directly from Apple and its retail partners.
