The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max release date is set for September 18
The device was announced today, September 9, and it will go on pre-order on Saturday, September 12. No, it is not available yet. If you’re aiming to get it when the pre-order period ends, you’ll want to know that the release date is on September 18. That’s also when pre-ordered devices are expected to start arriving.
If you’re wondering about prices, there are four different storage options, all of which include 12GB of RAM. The pricing starts at $1,299 for the 256GB storage variant, and goes up to $2,499 for the 2TB model.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is a large phone. It has a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display, which is flat. It offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and comes with an anti-reflective layer.
Apple’s new 2nm chip fuels the device
Apple’s new A20 Pro processor fuels the phone; that’s a 2nm chip, by the way. There are also three 48-megapixel cameras on the back of the device, led by a main camera with variable aperture, a first for Apple.
The battery is larger this time around, and the phone offers notably better battery life, according to Apple. Apple’s iOS 27 comes pre-installed on the device, of course. There’s much more to look forward to here.
