This week at IFA in Berlin, AIRSEEKERS announced its latest robot lawn mower, the ARANIX. This robotic lawn mower was so impressive that it caught our attention and earned our Best of IFA 2026 award.
ARANIX builds on the success of its TRON lineup (which we reviewed earlier this year). The company is tackling the most frustrating limitation of smart lawn care by targeting steep, rugged, and complex yards.
Instead of standard tank-style tracks or fixed front wheels, ARANIX introduces an independent four-wheel-drive and four-wheel-steering system powered by eight separate motors. This design enables zero-radius turns, multi-directional movement, and scaling steep slopes up to 40 degrees (an 85% incline). It continuously analyzes ground conditions and adjusts individual wheel speed in real time, intelligently working its way free if it ever encounters tricky terrain.
AIRSEEKERS introduced Tri-Positioning Navigation and FlowCut 2.0
Boundary wires remain a thing of the past. ARANIX pairs 360-degree LiDAR, 300-degree Vision SLAM, and network RTK positioning to achieve centimeter-level accuracy. Even if satellite signals are blocked by dense tree cover or tall buildings, it can still navigate areas up to 2,000 square meters on its own. The built-in vision system recognizes over 500 object types in broad daylight or low-light conditions and reacts to obstacles in as little as 200 milliseconds.
Cutting performance is handled by the FlowCut 2.0 system, which packs a 400mm cutting width across dual counter-rotating discs with 12 staggered blades. The modular cutting deck lets users switch between straight blades for standard manicured cuts and flail blades for thick weeds and overgrown grass. Powered by a 15 Ah battery that delivers up to 120 minutes of runtime, it can manage expansive properties up to 4,000 square meters. Complete app integration with 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FPV live camera control rounds out the package.
This is why the AIRSEEKERS ARANIX has earned our Best of IFA 2026 award.
