ASUS has announced the launch of its latest laptops, the ProArt P16, a laptop that it says was built with purpose to serve as a laptop for personal AI agents. As a laptop it’ll do everything you would expect a laptop to do, but with the power of NVIDIA’s RTX Spark GPU and up to 128GB of RAM, it’ll also be capable of handling complex AI processing tasks for professionals who use AI in their everyday workflows.
ASUS initially announced the ProArt P16 laptop back at Computex 2026 in June. It features a 16-inch display that has two different OLED panel options, one of which is a tandem OLED that has a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. The other model is your standard OLED with a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits. The resolution is different on both models as well. The standard OLED is 2,880 x 1,800, and the tandem OLED panel is 3,840 x 2,400.
ASUS will fully launch the ProArt P16 sometime this Fall
ASUS hasn’t announced pricing for these laptop models yet, and it hasn’t confirmed an official release date. However, it has stated that the new ProArt P16 will launching sometime in the Fall of 2026. As for pricing, the older ASUS model of the ProArt P16 which was powered by the RTX 4070 GPU, had a retail price of around $2,899.
In addition to switching out the GPU, displays, and adding some new features, ASUS has also updated the display’s refresh rate. The older model from 2025 featured a 60Hz display, whereas this new model comes with a 120Hz display for a smoother visual experience. It also only weighs 3.9 pounds and is 0.51 inches thin so it’s extra portable. ASUS is positioning this laptop as a great option for creators, and it’ll be available in two different colors when it launches.
