Buying a used phone online can be a nerve-wracking experience, especially when you do not know who fixed it or what parts they used. Samsung is changing that equation by launching its official Certified Re-Newed storefront on Amazon in the US. Instead of relying on random third-party refurbishers, buyers can now get factory-restored Galaxy phones directly from the manufacturer with guaranteed quality control.
Brand new batteries and factory warranty, Long-term software support
Every phone sold through the official program undergoes a thorough teardown and rebuild by Samsung technicians. The company replaces worn components with genuine factory parts and puts in a brand-new certified battery. These devices also run through a 147-point inspection checklist. To back up that work, Samsung ships each device with a standard one-year warranty, recyclable packaging, and full eligibility for Samsung Care+ damage protection.
Picking up a previous-generation flagship becomes a much easier decision thanks to Samsung’s extended software commitment. The company promises seven full years of Android updates for its recent flagship lineups. This means models like the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 will stay current for years.
Available models, color options, and pricing details
Samsung’s initial Amazon store launch includes 14 specific configurations across seven different Galaxy S24 and S25 models. Color options are somewhat limited, sticking mostly to Graphite, Onyx Black, Silver Shadow, and Titanium Black finishes.
Pricing kicks off at $489 for the Galaxy S24 FE with 128GB of storage and goes up to $519 for the 256GB model. The regular Galaxy S24 starts at $519 for 128GB and $549 for 256GB, while the larger S24+ costs $649 for 256GB and $699 for 512GB. If you want top-tier specs, the S24 Ultra comes in at $849 for 256GB and $899 for 512GB.
For the newer generation, the base Galaxy S25 starts at $599 for 128GB and $629 for 256GB, while the S25+ sells for $749 with 256GB and $799 with 512GB. The flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra costs $979 for 256GB and $1,029 for 512GB. Newer Galaxy S26 refurbished models remain exclusive to Samsung’s main website for now, but all 14 listed S24 and S25 options are live on Amazon today.
