XGIMI has just released the pricing for three new projectors that run on Google TV. These include the Elfin Flip Laser, Elfin Flip 4K, and the MIRA projectors. Pre-orders are also opening today in the US and Europe.
The Elfin Flip Laser is a 1080p laser projector, while the Elfin Flip 4K is obviously a 4K projector based on its name. These are joining the existing Elfin lineup, which rotates along an axis at the middle of the stand. This design lets the user tilt the projector to a suitable angle and view it at any height, including the ceiling.
These are going to be more expensive than the previous Elfin projectors, likely due to the RAMpocalypse currently going on. So, the Elfin Flip Laser is going to be $799 (or $719 if you pre-order), while the Elfin Flip 4K is going to be $999 (or $899 if you pre-order.
The MIRA is a UST projector with 2,000 ISO Lumens
Then there is the MIRA. This is a UST or ultra-short-throw projector, and these are typically more expensive because of that. It’s also pretty bright with 2,000 ISO Lumens included, and the ability to provide you with an image size of 80 to 120 inches. It is also using two 8W speakers, though these are not tuned by Harman Kardon this time. Internally, we’re looking at the MediaTek MT9679 processor, with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
MIRA is going to cost $1,699, but if you pre-order, you can get it for just $1,529. That is actually a pretty impressive price, considering what you’re getting here.
Pre-orders are open today through XGIMI’s website, and will start shipping on July 15. So they will miss the 4th of July holiday by just a tad. But it will still work for other outdoor gatherings this Summer.
