Xfinity has just refreshed its wireless mobile plans lineup for 2026 with two new, cheaper unlimited tariffs called Mobile Plus and Mobile Select. The new plans are available to new and existing customers of Xfinity Internet fiber and cable packages. Xfinity is introducing new tariffs with more benefits and reduced pricing. These new tariffs also include bundled features like device protection and easier phone upgrades.
Xfinity’s new Mobile Plus plan comes with free device protection
One of Xfinity’s new, cheaper mobile plans for 2026, Mobile Plus, costs $45 per month for each line. One of the main highlights of the package is lifetime device protection at no extra charge. This built-in coverage protects your devices against damage, loss, or theft. Earlier, users normally had to pay an extra monthly charge for this kind of device protection.
Notably, the new plan also introduces anytime device upgrades. Eligible Xfinity consumers can swap an old or damaged phone for a new one without waiting for a specific contract window to open up. The telecom service provider has removed the usual trade-in restrictions.
As for the other benefits, the Xfinity Mobile Plus plan offers unlimited calling, texting, and data benefits with video streaming at 4K resolution. It provides reduced mobile hotspot data, which reduces speeds after 50GB of use.
The tariff also bundles Xfinity’s Wi-Fi PowerBoost, which takes advantage of the company’s wide network of Wi-Fi hotspots around the country. For those unaware, when not connected to an Xfinity base station, the phones of users use Verizon’s 5G network.
The new Mobile Select tariff covers the main basics
Coming to Xfinity’s new Mobile Select plan, it costs $30 and covers the main basics. You’ll get unlimited calling, texting, and data benefits in the US. It offers the Global Travel Pass to cover yourself when traveling in 215 different countries. Like the Mobile Plus plan, it also offers Xfinity’s Wi-Fi PowerBoost feature. This one provides only 720p quality of movie and TV show streaming.
Additionally, Xfinity has also introduced a separate family plan for smartwatch and tablet users. It costs $35 per month and connects up to 10 cellular-enabled wearables and slates. Furthermore, families can trade in Wi-Fi-only devices for comparable cellular models.
The company is allowing existing Xfinity Internet consumers who are switching to Xfinity Mobile to try a line for free for a year with these plans.
