Vivo is quietly moving along with its X500 series’ development. Like every year, this time too we’ll probably see multiple variants in the series, including a premium-tier variant. Putting an end to the guessing game, a new leak on Weibo has now revealed the possible model names of the phones. Additionally, another leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has shed some hardware details of the Vivo X500 Pro Max, including a headlining LPDDR6 RAM.
Vivo X500 series may include four models
Tipster Smart Pikachu claims the Vivo X500 series will include four models. These are the Vivo X500e, Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max. Considering the past leaks, Vivo might differentiate them in the processing power and camera departments. While the leak doesn’t explicitly say anything, leaks on the web hint that we might see two other models as well: the Vivo X500s and X500 Ultra. But these will debut in the first half of 2027.Â
It seems like Vivo is targeting multiple price points in the premium segment by offering various options for consumers to choose from. Besides the model names, another Weibo leak sheds light on the hardware details of the ‘Max’ variant.

The Pro Max model may pack next-gen LPDDR6 RAM
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims the current Vivo X500 Pro Max engineering prototype sports a big 6.85-inch 2K LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate. He adds that the panel is manufactured using LIPO packaging technology. It’ll apparently offer ultra-slim, symmetrical bezels on all corners. The engineering sample uses a BOE panel, as per the leak.
He further adds that the Vivo X500 Pro Max will feature LPDDR6 RAM. This signals that Vivo could be the first smartphone brand to adopt the next-gen memory standard. In terms of cameras, the Vivo flagship may retain a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. Previous reports said that it’ll also feature a Sony LYT-838 50MP primary camera with LOFIC technology and a 50MP IMX8-series ultrawide lens.Â
Lastly, talking about the battery, Digital Chat Station says that the Vivo X500 Pro Max will have an 8,000mAh-class battery. However, the battery design has reportedly not been finalized yet. Since these specs are of an engineered prototype, they may not be final. As always, these are just leaks, so take them with a pinch of salt.
