The Vivo X Fold 6 is one of the most anticipated foldable smartphones of the year, and its specs have just surfaced online. They’ve been shared by Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known tipsters out there.
The tipster claims that Vivo’s new flagship foldable will feature an 8.01-inch main display, along with a 6.51-inch outer panel. The inner display will offer a 2K resolution and UTG protection as well.
The Vivo X Fold 6 specs reveal a 7,000mAh battery and a 200MP camera
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC is said to fuel the phone, which is the most powerful chip the company has to offer at the moment. A 7,000mAh battery has also been mentioned by the source. That will be a silicon-carbon pack, needless to say, and one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) in any foldable… in terms of capacity. Wireless charging will be supported.
What about the cameras? Well, based on the provided info, the Vivo X Fold 6 will feature a 200-megapixel main camera on the back. A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera will also be used, as will a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the exact sensors Vivo plans to use. ZEISS will be a part of the package, though.
The phone will include a side-facing fingerprint scanner, which is to be expected considering this is a book-style foldable. IP58 and IP59 certifications are expected for water resistance.
The phone is expected to arrive in June
That is basically everything that the tipster shared thus far. The Vivo X Fold 5 arrived back in June last year. Its successor could follow in the same time frame this year, which means we’re about two months away from the launch event. The Vivo X Fold 5 arrived on June 25, 2025.
This smartphone is expected to get a global variant, just like its predecessor. Last year, Vivo announced only one model; there were no ‘Pro’ or ‘Ultra’ variants. Judging by these specs, we’ll get one variant this year as well. This is a flagship foldable, no matter how you slice it.
