Switching carriers is rarely a simple decision, but Verizon is making the math a lot easier right now. The carrier just announced a push targeting AT&T, T-Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile customers with a new Verizon four-line plan priced at $100 per month, and that’s before you factor in the free phones.
What’s in the new Verizon four-line plan?
Customers who sign up for the Verizon four-line plan get four lines for $25 per line, per month. On top of that, Verizon is throwing in a “free” flagship phone for every line. iPhone 17, Galaxy S26, or Pixel 10. However, it should be noted that it’s rarely ever truly free. The more likely case is that the cost of the phone will be offset in your monthly bills. But you should still call and ask, just to make sure.
However, it doesn’t stop at phones. Verizon is bundling free accessories depending on which device you choose. For example, iPhone users get an Apple Watch Series 11 and an iPad A16. Samsung customers get a Galaxy Watch 8 and a Galaxy Tab S10 FE. Pixel users get a Pixel Watch 4 and a Galaxy Tab S10 FE.
The plan covers unlimited talk, text, and data in the US. Plus talk, text, and data when you’re in Mexico and Canada. There’s also unlimited international texting to over 200 countries. Keep in mind the $100 price doesn’t include taxes and fees, so your actual bill will be a bit higher depending on your state. The $100 rate is also held in place by a $20 per month account credit that runs for three years. After that, the price goes up, so that’s something else you need to consider before you sign.
If you’re unsure if this plan works out to be cheaper or better, don’t worry. Verizon says you can bring your current bill into any store for a side-by-side comparison.
How it stacks up against rivals
At $100 for four lines, the Verizon four-line plan sounds competitive. T-Mobile’s Essentials plan runs the same $100 per month for four lines with AutoPay. Not to mention T-Mobile has offered similar free flagship phone promos for switchers in the past. AT&T’s cheapest unlimited option, Value 2.0, comes out to $120 per month for four lines. However, AT&T does run switching credits that can lower the effective cost over 36 months.
What sets Verizon’s current promo apart is the accessory bundle. Free phones are pretty standard across all three major carriers right now. Getting a free smartwatch and tablet alongside the device is less common. Since it covers multiple ecosystems, it might have a broader appeal.
