Ulefone has now launched the RugOne Xlink 7 AI 4G Sports Walkie-Talkie campaign on Kickstarter. We knew that was going to happen, as the company itself confirmed it when the device was announced.
The RugOne Xlink 7 AI walkie-talkie is now available over at Kickstarter
You can grab this gadget by pledging $159.99 on Kickstarter, as that’s its Super Early Bird price. That way you’ll be able to save 47% of your cash, as its retail price tag will be that much more expensive.
The RugOne Xlink 7 is a compact AI-powered 4G sports walkie-talkie, which was made for hands-free, boundary-free communication, says the company. It is trying to avoid the limitations of classic VHF/UHF brick walkie-talkies.
The Xlink 7 utilizes global cellular networks instead of your traditional line-of-sight frequencies. It also allows users to engage in simultaneous, real-time voice calls via the Xlink app. There’s no need to hold down a PTT button while cycling, skiing, or climbing.
The Xlink 7 also comes with AI + chip noise cancellation. It combines a specialized audio chip and AI smart algorithms. It also has a dedicated SOS calling function for emergencies. On top of that, Ulefone also included a high-intensity TorchX flashlight here. GPS + Beidou + GLONASS positioning systems are on board as well.
This is a rugged product that can operate in extreme conditions
To top it all off, this is a rugged device. It has military-grade toughness. It is IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certified. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 55℃. An intelligent AI voice assistant is built into the device as well.
Ulefone also has plenty of specialized gear on offer for it. That includes a Wireless PTT Remote Ring, a heavy-duty Magnetic Back Clip, and a secure lanyard for drop-free activities.
It’s also worth noting that the Xlink 7 is on display at the Eletrolar Show 2026 in São Paulo from today until June 25, in case you’re around.
