Caviar, a luxury smartphone brand, has just announced its new revamps of the iPhone 18 Pro series and iPhone Duo, without cameras. Yes, you read that right: these phones do not have cameras… at all.
Caviar announced luxury iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro models with no cameras
These devices are part of Caviar’s ‘Ultimate Black Edition’. The only devices included in this family are the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max, thus far. If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll be able to see them.
Caviar literally removed the cameras from the back entirely. The front-facing camera has also been disabled at the hardware level. The company says that “nothing remains except black titanium and clean geometry.”
The black Apple logo is also present here, and it’s integrated into the titanium surface on the iPhone Duo. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max don’t even have the Apple logo on them at least we don’t see it on the back. Caviar will make only 19 pieces of these devices, of each of them.
The camera-less iPhone Duo is referred to as the ‘Ultimate’, while the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are branded as ‘Supersonic’ by Caviar.
Some new models with cameras have also landed
If you actually need a camera on your phone, Caviar presented some other models as well. Four other models were announced as part of the Black series: Versus, Titanium, Signature, and Prestige.
These devices retain cameras, but replace glass backs with different materials. Materials include black crocodile leather, exposed titanium screws, and 999-fine gold plating.
The Signature and Prestige iPhone 18 Pro series models come with V-shaped gold inserts. These devices will also be made in only 19 units. The pricing starts at a whopping $10,560 for the Versus and goes up to $10,770 for the camera-free Supersonic version.
When it comes to the iPhone Duo, the pricing starts at $13,410 for the Titanium version and goes up to $13,990 for the camera-free Ultimate edition. So you’ll actually be paying more for the models without cameras.
