The Google Pixel 11 series has gotten another update this week with Google having started pushing out the software build as of September 9. This is a small or otherwise minor update to the phones that doesn’t have a clear description of what the update actually does. It weighs in at just under 100MB.
The update will be available over-the-air for Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold models, with reports noting that it is possible that all users have received the update at this point in time.
If that is the case, users with a Pixel 11 series phone who have not seen the update come through automatically can manually check to see if the update is available to download. You can do this by going to the settings menu, then to the system sub-menu, and then tap on software updates, and then system updates to check. It’s also possible to download the new software update via the full OTA images that Google puts up on its Google Play Services support site.

With no official changelog available, it’s not clear what Google is pushing out to devices, not exactly at least. Android Authority suspects that the update may be for patching out certain glitches that people have been having with their Pixel 11 series phones since the devices launched back on August 20.
App crashes happening for what seems like no reason, Video Boost causing weird and glitchy-sounding audio during video recordings, Wi-Fi connection problems, and the display waking up without the user touching it have all been problems users have dealt with and reported. These are also just some of the issues that users have reported.
