No Ferrari in decades has split opinion the way the Luce has. Blame the pen behind it. Jony Ive, the man who shaped the iPhone, arrived at this project with almost no automotive design work to his name, and the result reads that way to plenty of people. Ferrari, for its part, says the EV has already hit its first-year sales target, so that argument hasn’t hurt the order book. Once customer deliveries start, expect a healthy number of those owners to go straight to the aftermarket looking for something that sets their car apart from the one parked next to it.

These renderings from Vossen Wheels make the case that it doesn’t take much to change how the Luce reads, even if none of the changes push it toward anything resembling a traditional Ferrari. Given that these images come from Vossen, the most obvious inclusion is the company’s G2-13T wheels, launched in late August.
Sporting a duoblock design and available in sizes between 18 inches and 22 inches, the G2-13T wheels have a rally-inspired aerodisc design that somehow suits the industrial design of the Luce, perhaps because they look a little like the circular camera lenses of an iPhone. The brushed silver design is also pretty eye-catching.
What Else Is New?
Elsewhere, Ferrari’s first-ever EV has been lowered significantly, so much so that it’d be completely unusable on the street, but would look great when parked. It has also been tweaked with a new front splitter, extended side skirts, a new rear diffuser, and a pronounced fixed rear wing. We wouldn’t put it past Ferrari to launch a so-called ‘Speciale’ version of the Luce at some stage, although we’re doubtful it’d look quite as bold as this given the brand’s dislike of large wings like this.
Customer deliveries of the Ferrari Luce are expected to start in Europe before the end of the year, with launches in other markets throughout 2027. Priced from €550,000 ($639,000), it’ll obviously only appeal to the uber-wealthy.
