T-Mobile has offered a wide variety of perks over the years from streaming to free food, and a new report mentions that the carrier may be about to introduce a pick-your-perk offer for subscribers that adds new perk options to specific plans.
These new perks will slot into categories for streaming music and streaming video, and T-Mobile even has a little something for the gamers, if the rumor about the incoming perk options is accurate. With these new perks unconfirmed by T-Mobile at the moment, the report believes that subscribers will get to pick one of the available new perks to add to their plan if they’re on a compatible plan.
As of right now, T-Mobile offers Netflix and Hulu as part of its ‘On Us’ freebies, and it offers a discounted subscription to Apple TV+ where customers pay $3 a month instead of the regular amount.
T-Mobile will have eight new perks as part of the pick-you-perk offer
According to The Mobile Report, T-Mobile is going to be slotting in eight new perks that customers will get to pick from and have it added to their plan. One is DashPass, and since T-Mobile already offers a yearly DashPass option, the report speculates that pick-your-perk is replacing the current offer.
T-Mobile will also be adding a few different streaming music options, as well as two streaming video options, and an offer for Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox Game Pass tier isn’t known, but there are three plans that Xbox currently has, which are Essential, Premium, and Ultimate.
For the music streaming, T-Mobile is said to be adding Apple Music, YouTube, and SiriusXM. For video streaming options, Paramount Plus and ESPN+ will be joining the mix alongside Netflix, Apple TV+, and Hulu. Lastly, there’s said to be a new perk for Google AI, though it isn’t mentioned which tier plan this will be.
