Shorenstein, Portman Agree to Terms on Nashville Office Sale

Shorenstein Investment Advisers has purchased the Moore Building, a 245,826-square-foot office property in Nashville, Tenn. Portman Holdings was the seller. The acquisition comes on the heals of the company buying a 330,000 square foot building in the Gulch Union district for $217 million. 

The social media company TikTok rents 143,000 square feet in the building. 

The Moore Building is at 827 19^th Ave. S., within Music Row. Portman delivered the 16-story building in 2023, along with Creed Investment Co. The office development features a fitness center, conference rooms, indoor and outdoor lounges and 8,500 square feet of retail space. 

This acquisition marks Shorenstein’s fourth Nashville office investment. The last big office sale occurred in May when  Highwoods Properties sold Bridgestone Tower, a 522,000-square-foot building, for $255 million or $488.5 per square foot.
