The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 was announced last week in four color options, and it’s now available to pre-order. The phone comes in Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Pistachio colors. The last one here is an online-exclusive color, and that Galaxy Z Fold 8 model seems to be in high demand and is selling out quickly.
The online-exclusive Galaxy Z Fold 8 color is very popular and is backed up until October
The Pistachio Galaxy Z Fold 8 is available only via the Samsung Store. If you navigate to its listing on the company’s website, you’ll see 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options of the device, same as for any other Galaxy Z Fold 8 colors.
Well, while the most expensive model, the 1TB variant, can arrive your way by August 21, that’s not the case for the other two models. The 256GB storage variant has been pushed back to October 2, and so has the 512GB storage option.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will go on sale on August 12
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series will go on sale on August 12. That’s when pre-orders will likely be in the hands of consumers already, and that’s when the phone will become available for purchase in stores.
So, October 2 is quite a delay. We’ve checked the other color options, and they’re all shipping at some point in August, the vast majority of them in early August. So there’s really no delay for almost any other color + storage combo.
It is possible that Samsung has fewer Pistachio variants at hand, as that’s an online-exclusive color. Then again, it’s possible that the Pistachio model is way more popular than the company anticipated.
Either way, if you’re interested in that color variant specifically, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, unless you grab the 1TB model, which has also been pushed back a bit, but only until August 21.
