Samsung’s Odyssey gaming monitors have long been one of the popular options for PC gamers and the company is now giving gamers more options to choose from, as it has just announced its first new monitors in the Odyssey 2027 lineup. Samsung unveiled a few new gaming monitors at Gamescom 2026 where it also announced new portable SSDs, with a size option that Samsung believes will cater to all needs of the market.
Samsung doesn’t announce official launch dates or pricing for any of the three new monitors. However, it does refer to these as the Odyssey 2027 lineup. The company also states that pricing and availability dates will be announced in the future. No specifics were given. As for pricing, consumers can look at past versions of these monitors to get an idea of what the prices might be.

Samsung’s new Odyssey OLED G9 will stand out for some because it’s the ultra-wide, 49-inch curved gaming monitor, but Samsung’s new Odyssey G6 offers something that no Odyssey G9 model ever has. An 1,100Hz refresh rate. The Odyssey G6 2027 is specifically designed, Samsung says, “for FPS players who place speed and motion clarity first.” While 1,100Hz is the peak refresh rate, this is only achievable in HD. However, players who bump the resolution up to the maximum of QHD can still squeeze up to 600Hz out of the monitor.
In addition to the new Odyssey G9 and new Odyssey G6, Samsung is also unveiling a new Odyssey G8 and a new Odyssey G7. The G7 is Samsung’s new 42-inch gaming monitor featuring the familiar 1000R curved display, and it’s also an OLED panel.
The Odyssey G8 is also an OLED panel but it uses a 32-inch flat panel display instead of the curved design. Both are UHD. The Odyssey G9, meanwhile, sticks with the Dual QHD resolution and bumps up to a QD-OLED panel.
