Ulefone has just announced the Note 22, its new compact smartphone. This phone actually comes with a 5-inch display, which is smaller than displays on most modern compact smartphones.
The Ulefone Note 22 is the company’s new budget compact smartphone
Most smartphone OEMs are reaching for 6.3-inch displays for compact smartphones and use very thin bezels in combination with them. Ulefone opted to go with a considerably smaller display for the Note 22.
In all honesty, this is a budget phone, and its bezels are thicker than the ones on those devices; that’s not surprising, though. The top and bottom bezels are especially noticeable here and are notably thicker than the side bezels.
On the flip side, the phone does not have a display camera hole, notch, or anything like that. It also only costs $69.99, which is much, much less than any of those other compact smartphones.
It uses entry-level specs
The phone is fueled by the Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor, which comes in combination with 3GB of RAM. Ulefone also included 32GB of storage here, which you can expect via a microSD card.
The Ulefone Note 22 also has a 3,000mAh battery on the inside. Android 16 Go Edition comes pre-installed on the device, not the regular Android 16 OS. Ulefone also includes a regular TPU case in the retail box, unlike many other companies.
This smartphone’s battery is also removable, by the way. You can simply remove it and replace it if you want. Carrying a spare with you is also an option, of course.
The Ulefone Note 22 is already available for purchase. You can grab it from the company’s official store, while it will also become available on Amazon, AliExpress, and other e-commerce platforms in the near future.
