A couple of days ago, certifications popped up proving that the Samsung Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will not get faster charging. Well, the same will be the case with the Galaxy S27 Ultra, as the phone will use the same charging speed as the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will not be getting a charging upgrade
In other words, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will support 60W wired charging. The newcomer to the series, the Galaxy S27 Pro, will follow in the Ultra’s footsteps. It will also support 60W wired charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was able to fully charge in around 45 minutes. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to get a 700mAh-1,000mAh larger battery, so it will take a bit longer to charge. Well, if that ends up being the case, the battery capacity has not been confirmed.
When it comes to the Galaxy S26 Pro, we’re still not sure what battery capacity Samsung will go with. However, it is expected to have a smaller battery than the Galaxy S27 Ultra, as it will have a slightly smaller display.
Both devices are coming in Q1 2027, along with two additional Galaxy S27 phones
Both of these smartphones will become official in Q1 next year. They’ll most likely arrive in January or February. Two other phones are coming with them: the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+.
The two base models will look basically the same as last year’s models. The Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, on the other hand, will have a new camera plateau on the back. That will hopefully prevent them from wobbling on a table, as that is a notable problem with current-gen phones.
