Peak Design, the company best known for its travel and everyday bags for camera gear, has just announced a new set of charging accessories to keep your phones topped up with the power they need. Keeping with the theme of naming its new products, Peak Design’s Everyday Charging Accessories includes four new products; the Kickstand Travel Battery, the Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1, the Dual Slim Charger, and the Ultrastrand Cable.
All four products will expand Peak Design’s mobile accessories, which mostly consists of phone cases for devices like Google’s Pixel phones and Apple’s iPhones, in addition to a number of magnetic attachments for those cases like kickstands and wallets. Like Peak Design’s other products, the new charging accessories use premium materials, and follow what Peak Design says is its philosophy for everything it makes: “Fewer, better things.” Essentially going against the current idea that everyday electronics should be cheap and disposable.
Peak Design everyday charging accessories launch in the US November 3
For US consumers, it’s now possible to get all four charging accessories if they fit into your everyday use case scenarios. The Ultrastrand Cable will retail for a starting price of $24.95, but it can go up to $39.95 depending on the version you pick. It comes in 1m and 2m lengths as a single cable, but also a 2-pack. They also come in 60W and 240W configurations, have braided construction, and feature removable cable management clips that are designed to prevent kinks.
The Kickstand Battery and Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 will retail for $99.95 each, and the Dial Slim Charger is $64.95. The kickstand is essentially a 5,000mAh battery pack with magnetic wireless charging capabilities, but it also lifts up to rest at different angles so you can use your phone as an alarm clock, or more easily watch media. While all of the accessories are available in the US already, Peak Design says they’ll be launching in global markets later this month.
