The OnePlus Ace 7 specifications have just surfaced, and they look very compelling. This information comes from a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, and follows some early info that surfaced earlier this month.
The OnePlus Ace 7 specs hint at a very powerful phone with a 9,000mAh battery
Digital Chat Station claims that the OnePlus Ace 7 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. In other words, it will use the most powerful processor that Qualcomm has to offer at the moment.
It will also be equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED display, which will be flat. It will have a 1.5K resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate. Its refresh rate could be as high as 240Hz, in fact. The minimum guaranteed refresh rate is said to be 185Hz.
The battery capacity will also be very high. The tipster claims that a 9,000mAh battery pack will be used here. That will be a silicon-carbon battery, of course. It will support 100W wired charging, it is said.
A cooling fan could be included, but it’s not guaranteed
The OnePlus Ace 7 will also include a cooling fan, well, at least it’s in testing. That cooling fan is still not a guaranteed feature for the final model; keep that in mind.
What was not mentioned here is the camera setup on the device. While we’ll be expecting a capable set of cameras to be included, this is not a camera smartphone, nor a flagship. So, manage your expectations. This device is obviously focused on being a performance beast.
The OnePlus Ace 6 was announced back in October last year. Therefore, the OnePlus Ace 7 could arrive in October this year, unless OnePlus opts to release the device sooner than that.
It’s also worth noting that the OnePlus Ace 6 remained exclusive to the Chinese market. So, don’t expect its successor to make its way to global markets. There’s always a chance, but it almost certainly will not happen.
