The Samsung Galaxy A57 is now getting Android 17-based One UI 9.0 globally. This update started rolling out in Korea, Samsung’s homeland, less than a week ago, and it’s now spreading its wings.
The Samsung Galaxy A57’s One UI 9.0 update is now hitting global markets, starting with Europe
The update is now rolling out to Europe, the first global market. It will soon spread to the US and other markets, though. The update weighs a hefty 2.3GB in Europe, and it brings firmware version A576BXXU6BZIE.
Your phone will let you know once the update is ready, but you can always check manually if you want. You can do so via Settings -> Software update -> Check for updates.
It does bring some interesting new features, though not many of them
One UI 9.0 does bring some interesting changes to the watch, but not many of them. First and foremost, at least for me personally, is the more customizable Quick Panel. You can now tweak it to look just the way you want, plus keep every shortcut right where you want it.
Samsung also provided some enhancements to Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes, and new accessibility features are also included. This update also brings a deeper Gemini integration and more.
It’s not a huge update in terms of features, but some useful additions are here, not to mention optimizations. The next big update is coming in the form of One UI 9.5, which will likely arrive in Q1 along with the Galaxy S27 series.
That update will also be based on Android 17, of course. In any case, One UI 9.0 is now rolling out globally, but it’s rolling out in stages, so be patient. Europe is first in line, and considering it’s a staged rollout, you may have to wait a bit even if you live there.
