Thinking about using the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 on Verizon? But you can’t just walk into a Verizon store and buy it, unfortunately.
Motorola decided to skip the carriers entirely with the Razr Ultra 2026 this year. The phone is fully unlocked and compatible with Verizon’s network, along with AT&T, T-Mobile, and a wide range of MVNOs like Visible, US Mobile, and Boost Mobile. So if you’re a Verizon customer, you’re good; you just have to buy it yourself.
Motorola is selling the Razr Ultra 2026 through its own website, Best Buy, and Amazon. Pre-orders open May 14, and the phone goes on sale May 21. No carrier financing, no trade-in deals through Verizon. But Motorola does offer financing, and it also does trade-ins.
Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 Specs and Price
Here are the Razr Ultra 2026 specs. You’re getting a 7-inch inner OLED display and a 4-inch cover display, all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera setup is a triple 50MP system: main, ultrawide, and selfie. Battery is a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon cell backed by 68W TurboPower wired charging, and it ships with Android 16 out of the box. IP48 dust and water resistance is on board as well. Color options are PANTONE Orient Blue with Alcantara and PANTONE Cocoa with a wood veneer finish — both look incredible.
The price is where things sting a little. The Razr Ultra 2026 price starts at $1,499, which is $200 more than last year’s model. The core specs are familiar, but the premium materials and that bigger 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery help justify the ask. Motorola owns 67% of the flip phone market in the US, and phones like this are exactly why.
If you’re on Verizon and want the best flip phone money can buy right now, the Razr Ultra 2026 delivers. You’ll just need to buy it on your own terms.
