Looking to use the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 on T-Mobile? The good news is, it works. The bad news? Well, T-Mobile (none of the US carriers for that matter) will be stocking the Razr Ultra 2026, unfortunately.
Motorola made the call to go carrier-free with the Razr Ultra 2026 this year. You won’t find it at any carrier store, but the phone is fully unlocked and compatible with T-Mobile’s network, so if you’re already a T-Mobile customer, you can pick one up and pop your SIM right in. It’ll also work on AT&T, Verizon, and a ton of MVNOs like Metro by T-Mobile, US Mobile, and Boost Mobile.
So, where do you actually buy it? Motorola is selling the Razr Ultra 2026 through its own website, Best Buy, and Amazon. Pre-orders kick off May 14, with sales starting May 21.
Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 Specs and Price
Here’s what you’re working with. The Razr Ultra 2026 specs include a 7-inch inner OLED display and a 4-inch cover display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the camera side, you’re getting a triple 50MP system covering main, ultrawide, and selfie. Battery is a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon cell with 68W TurboPower wired charging, and it runs Android 16 out of the box. IP48 dust and water resistance is included too. It comes in two colorways: PANTONE Orient Blue with an Alcantara finish and PANTONE Cocoa with a wood veneer.
As for price, the Razr Ultra 2026 comes in at $1,499, up $200 from last year’s model. The spec sheet is largely familiar, including the same chip, same cameras, same displays, with the biggest hardware change being that larger silicon-carbon battery. The materials are legitimately gorgeous, though, and Motorola holds 67% of the flip phone market in the US for a reason.
If you’re on T-Mobile and want the best flip phone on the market right now, the Razr Ultra 2026 will serve you well. Just don’t expect to finance it through your carrier.
