The Motorola Razr Plus 2026 is now official, and it continues to sit as the middle child in Motorola’s flip phone lineup. There are a few upgrades versus last year’s model, but not too many.
The biggest change here, like with the Motorola Razr 2026 specs, is going to be the battery. It’s now 4,500mAh, still smaller than the vanilla Razr, but it is about 12% larger now and still retains that 45W wired charging.
Internally, we’re looking at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the same processor as last year and the year before. It does also come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage once again. This model is likely only being made for the carriers to sell something between the base model and the Ultra, which is about a $700 difference.
The cameras also have some weird changes this time around. The ultrawide is a bit wider than last year, just like it is on the regular Motorola Razr 2026, while opening up the aperture to f/2.0. But then the main sensor has dropped its aperture to f/1.8. That’s such a small change on the main camera, that you likely won’t notice a huge difference in light that the camera can bring in.

When can you buy the Motorola Razr Plus 2026?
Pre-orders for the Motorola Razr Plus 2026 will start on May 14 through Best Buy, Amazon and Motorola’s website. This will be the fully unlocked model that will work on all carriers. It will ship by May 21.
Motorola says that the device will also be available on AT&T starting on May 21, with T-Mobile coming in the future months. A bit surprising to see this model will not be available from Verizon, this time around. But since it is available unlocked, it will still work on Verizon.
