Motorola unveiled the Razr Plus 2026 on April 29, and the company will be launching it next month. The phone will officially be up for pre-order on May 14, with the official release date being May 21. Th Motorola Razr Plus 2026 is considered a more minor upgrade from its previous model compared to the other variants this year. Mainly because the 2026 versions of the Razr and Razr Ultra have more upgraded components, where the Razr Plus 2026 comes with a few older ones. Such as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The RAM shortage has caused higher prices for loads of products headed into 2026, and unfortunately this includes smartphones. Motorola may be using older components like the chipset so that it can cut down on production costs. That being said, it’s still an all-new phone with new features and a new design.
The Razr Plus 2026 comes in a single color, which is called PANTONE Mountain View, a color that was leaked earlier this year alongside several other rumors. As for the Motorola Razr Plus 2026 specs, the phone features 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM as well as 256GB of storage. It also has a decent main camera setup. For the main camera sensor Motorola is using a 50MP camera. This is paired with a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chat.
The Motorola Razr Plus 2026 will cost a little more this time around
This was to be expected, even if consumers were hoping for the opposite. Like Samsung and other brands, Motorola has increased the price of the Razr Plus this year. Specifically, the price has gone up by $100. The phone will now cost consumers $1,099.99, compared to the $999.99 from the 2025 model.
On top of this price increase, availability is somewhat limited. When the phone launches on May 21, it’ll be available through Motorola directly as an unlocked device. You will also be able to get it through Amazon or Best Buy. In addition to the unlocked model, AT&T will also carry this phone on May 21. T-Mobile will carry it as well, but not until later in 2026.
