The 2026 Motorola Razr is here! For those of you outside of the US, it’ll be known as the Motorola Razr 70, but inside the US, it’ll be marketed as the Motorola Razr 2026.
The Motorola Razr 2026 specs might look very familiar compared to last year’s model, but there are a few updates here. The biggest update is definitely the battery capacity. It’s about 6% larger this year, at 4,800mAh, compared to the 4,500mAh capacity of the Razr 2025. While making the battery larger, Motorola also managed to make the phone even thinner, but just barely. We’re talking about 0.05mm thinner versus last year’s model.
It’s also getting a processor upgrade this year, to the new MediaTek Dimensity 7450X, and it’s sticking to a single RAM/Storage model this year. That’s going to be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This is actually a downgrade from last year, as Motorola only offered a 256GB model for $100 less.
The last upgrade you’ll notice is with the ultrawide camera. It has now been upgraded to a 50-megapixel camera, with a slightly larger aperture of f/2.0 and a slightly larger field-of-view at 122-degrees. This is going to be great for taking macro shots, as that extra light will come in handy.

When can I buy the Motorola Razr 2026?
The Motorola Razr 2026 will go on sale starting May 14, with orders shipping on May 21. It will be available universally unlocked from Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola, with expanded availability on May 21 at select carriers. This includes Boost Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, Verizon, Visible, Xfinity Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Google Fi Wireless, and Cox Mobile. With subsequent availability at T-Mobile and Cricket Wireless in the coming months.
