The Motorola Edge 70 Pro has just surfaced on Geekbench. That listing confirmed a couple of specifications of the device, and there are no surprises here.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, says Geekbench
The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor will fuel the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. That is an octa-core processor from MediaTek, and it’s a 4nm chip. This model, at least, has 12GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that Android 16 will come pre-installed.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro managed to score 1,727 points in the single-core test and 6,563 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. That’s per course for the MediaTek Dimensity 8500.
This is not the first time we’re hearing about this phone, not at all. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro was teased by the company a couple of days ago. The teaser mentioned a “satin-luxe finish”, and a pistachio green shade was shown as well.
The phone will be available in a series of colors and finishes
That won’t be the only color that will be on offer, though. Motorola will also offer the Edge 70 Pro in Pantone Titan Blue and a marble-style gray-white color. Renders of the phone also leaked, showing off several other colors, including Pantone Zinfandel (Maroon) and a wooden-texture variant.
The phone will feature a curved display with a centered display camera hole, and seemingly uniform bezels. On the back, three cameras will be located, while different backplate finishes will be on offer, as mentioned already.
The device is rumored to offer a 6,500mAh battery, along with 90W wired charging. This phone is getting a global variant, as it’s coming to India 100%, but there’s a good chance it won’t make its way to the US.
New Motorola Razr and Motorola Razr Ultra phones are coming to the States, though. Motorola has plenty in store for us for this year.
