The iPhone Air 2 is set to launch next year with the base model iPhone 18, and now Jon Prosser is back, giving us a first look at what to expect with the second-generation iPhone Air.
Yes, that Jon Prosser that Apple is currently suing for leaking iOS 26 is now leaking another iPhone.
Basically, to sum up the 8-minute video, all of the rumors we’ve seen are true so far. This includes the addition of a second camera on the back. It’ll be dual 48MP cameras with an ultrawide and a wide camera; of course, the primary camera will still be able to do 2x optical zoom, thanks to sensor cropping.
iPhone Air 2 will also run on the A20 Pro chip that is also set to power the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max later this year. This is going to be Apple’s first 2nm chipset, and the efficiency gains are said to be incredible.
When it comes to the iPhone Air 2 colors, we’re looking at space black, cloud white, light gold, and lavender. Skipping out on the light blue from the original iPhone Air.
Finally, Prosser believes that the prices on this year’s iPhones will only go up by about $50. Keep in mind that iPhone prices are much more important than any of their other products. Since it sells far more, it is also subsidized by the carriers with massive carrier sales here in the US.
The Android Headlines Take
Prosser definitely has balls to continue leaking iPhones after being sued and currently in a lawsuit with Apple. But he does have a pretty stellar leak record over the years. And the fact that most of the details here we have already seen in other leaks doesn’t leave a lot of surprises.
If these details about the iPhone Air 2 are correct, it could end up being like the iPhone 13 Mini, in that it is far more popular and sells way more than the first generation.
