The Samsung Galaxy A27 is now official. Samsung did not make a big deal out of this announcement, as expected. It was not announced via a press release even, but it did appear on the company’s official website with all the details.
The Samsung Galaxy A27 is now officially listed by the company
The device appeared on Samsung’s website in the Czech Republic, thus confirming its design, specs, and availability in Europe. This phone is technically a part of the company’s mid-range lineup, but this is a budget phone.
It has a flat display, flat backplate, and flat frame. Its physical buttons sit on the right side, while there is also a pill-shaped camera island on the back. That is the case with basically every Galaxy A phone in the latest series.
It has a display camera hole which is centered up top, and it also includes a rather noticeable “chin” at the bottom. Its bezels are not thick in general, but the bottom one is thicker than the rest.
It comes in three color options
The phone is shown in Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink colors, as expected. Those are their official names, by the way. You can see it in all colors below.
It is fueled by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm. That chip is backed by 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It also has a hybrid SIM slot that allows you to use a microSD card in the second slot to expand the phone’s storage.
It will be supported for 6 years, including OS updates
A 6.7-inch fullHD+ Super AMOLED display sits on the front. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz. A 5,000mAh battery sits on the inside of the phone, and 25W wired charging is supported. Android 16 comes pre-installed with One UI 8.5. Samsung has promised 6 years of OS and security updates for the phone.
A 50-megapixel main camera sits on the back, and it’s backed by a 5-megapixel ultrawide unit. A 2-megapixel macro camera is also located on the back, while a 12-megapixel selfie camera sits on the front.
The Galaxy A27 is also IP64 certified for water and dust resistance. It has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and supports Bluetooth 5.1. The device measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200 grams.
