
Construction could soon begin on a film studio in Mansfield. SuperStudios will include sound stages, production offices, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, retail, hotels and apartments. The cost of the project is an estimated $750 million.
Construction will be carried about across 10 phases. The first three phases will focus on building the sound stages, with the next seven phases focused on completed the sound stages and building houses, mixed-use restaurants and stores.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the initial phase will encompass 16 acres and include four 18,000-square-foot soundstages with 42,000 square feet of attached offices across two buildings and 100,000 square feet of mill space. Construction for the first phase will cost $50 million and is set to start in late August or September and finish in summer 2027, Dallas-based Lineage Legacy Partners is a developer partner. Full Send Partners is the investment bank. Gensler and ARCO are the design firms on the project.
