A .44-acre parcel between two apartment buildings may be the site for a 10-story tower comprising 80 apartment units and 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Plaza Artist Materials & Picture Framing currently owns the property. The Nashville Business Journal reports Andrew Marshall of MXB Partners is listed as the project developer. Root Architecture is leading design for the project, and Dale & Associates is listed as the project engineer.
The site, at 1205 Second Ave. N. is located near the Neuhoff District development. It holds the one-story building home to Plaza Artist Materials and some surface parking. (Photo courtesy of Nashville Business Journal)
The project engineer has submitted a request to rezone the property which will go before the Metro Planning Department for approval in May.
