Lenovo Googlebook 15 Gets Its Full Spec Sheet Leaked Ahead of Launch

Lenovo is preparing to launch its Googlebook soon, and that’s pretty clear from the number of leaks we’ve seen so far. Now, Mac Observer has published the specs of the upcoming Lenovo Googlebook, which will feature a 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED display and be powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 325 processor.

That display on this Googlebook looks pretty beefy; not only is it an OLED and 120Hz, but it also has 500 nits of brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Making this a really impressive display for this Googlebook. This also means that it won’t be cheap. Though Google has already said that Google Books are meant to be more “premium” than Chromebooks.

Internally, there is the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor with integrated graphics and either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Along with 256GB or 512GB of storage.

Lenovo’s Googlebook will weigh 2.84lbs and measure x 9.29 x 0.63 inches. Complete with a 70Wh battery, which Lenovo claims gives you around 11 hours of battery life. This number is based on a video playback test used by most laptop manufacturers.

There will also be Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 on board.

There’s a dedicated Google key and a glowbar

Also mentioned is the dedicated Google key on the keyboard, which will be part of every Googlebook, as is the glowbar on the lid. This was announced along with the Googlebook concept earlier this year.

Lenovo is also making an AI mouse for this laptop, with a glowbar around it. There’s not much detail about this just yet, however.

For those unaware, Googlebooks are basically Android-running Chrome laptops. So it’s the Aluminum OS that we’ve been hearing about for years, but it’s built for Gemini, because, of course, it is. We should hear more about these Googlebooks in the coming weeks from Lenovo and Google’s other partners, including Acer, ASUS, HP, and Dell.
