This year, judging by all the leaks and rumors of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue are two of the color options for this year’s iPhones. Now, thanks to a new leak via a video shared on Naver by yeux1122, those color options might have been confirmed.
iPhone 18 Pro Max shown off in Dark Cherry, Sky Blue
In the video, it shows what appears to be demo units of the iPhone 18 Pro Max in its rumored Dark Cherry and Sky Blue finishes. The Dark Cherry color option is particularly interesting.
We’ve seen many leaks of this color option before. However, the finish was quite hard to pin down as some showed it to be really dark. Others showed it to be quite bright. Assuming the demo units in the video are the real deal, the color does shift quite a bit depending on the lighting and angle.
At some angles, the purple appears to be quite bright and prominent. However, at other angles, it looks quite dark. We can’t say the same about the blue model as the video only showed the person picking up and playing around with the Dark Cherry model. But from what we can tell, it seems to be a shade darker than what we have seen.
Then again, these are demo units and we don’t know for sure what the actual color looks like until Apple officially announces it. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long. Apple’s iPhone event is scheduled for tomorrow so we should have all the details then.
What’s still up in the air
Apple usually gives us a few color options to choose from for its Pro models. Dark Cherry and Sky Blue are all but confirmed. But what’s not confirmed are the other color options. According to a rumor from earlier this year, Apple will apparently not offer the Pro models in a black finish. Instead, Apple could offer a silver model.
However, just recently, a new report claims that black is going to be the third color option and that silver did not make the cut. It’s admittedly quite confusing, but we’ll know everything there is to know tomorrow.
