The launch of new iPhones is just over a week away, followed by pre-orders. We’ll be witnessing the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro series, the first foldable iPhone (iPhone Ultra), new Apple Watches, and hopefully more. Ahead of the unveiling, a new leak sheds light on the iPhone 18 Pro colors. For what it’s worth, past leaks have already offered us some insights on what to expect in this regard.
New leak reveals the iPhone 18 Pro’s color lineup ahead of launch
A new Weibo post from leaker Fixed Focus Digital points to a slightly different color lineup than what’s previously reported. According to him, the iPhone 18 Pro will arrive in Dark Cherry/Burgundy, Sky Blue, and Black. The leaker adds that Silver is “most likely” not coming, adding that he has seen no evidence of the model. But then we’ve seen dummy units showing off the Silver colorway.
What’s interesting here is that we’ve seen conflicting reports on whether Apple will launch a Black/Space Gray colorway this year. But that color seems to be debuting, at least as per one tipster. If the leak is accurate, Apple could replace all of the iPhone 17 Pro’s colors with completely new options for the iPhone 18 Pro.

The silver color may not be coming
We’re not new to the Sky Blue shade. Apple used it for the iPhone Air and MacBook Air. But the color in both cases is very subtle and, in some lighting conditions, it gave off a silver-like look. So Apple may be hoping it’ll serve as an alternative for those who prefer Silver. Meanwhile, the Dark Cherry/Burgundy will be Apple’s signature color this year, replacing the iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange shade. This will set it apart from the company’s other models.
As for Black/Space Gray, there were mixed reactions last year when Apple ditched it for the iPhone 17 Pro. So this new leak should definitely cheer those who don’t fancy shiny colors. We’ll know how much of this holds up next week.
