Huawei has just announced a new global launch event. It is scheduled for May 7, and it will take place in Bangkok, Thailand. Huawei’s video teaser clearly confirms that the Huawei Watch Fit 5 series is coming.
Huawei announced a global event for May 7, new watches, a phone, and a tablet are coming
The aforementioned video teaser is embedded below, for your convenience. The Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro will become official. Both of those smartwatches have already been announced in China.
We’re not really expecting any major changes for global models. The design will remain unchanged, and even though some features could be different in global variants, the major ones will remain intact.
Now, in addition to the Huawei Watch Fit 5 series, we could also see a new smartphone and a new tablet. Both a phone and a tablet have been shown in the video teaser, which kind of hints at their arrival, too.
In addition to the Huawei Watch Fit 5 series, two other devices are on the way
So, what exactly is coming? Well, the rumored Huawei Nova 15 Max could be on the way. That device will essentially be a rebranded Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max phone. That device launched in China last month.
What about the tablet? The Huawei MatePad Pro Max is expected. We don’t really have any information about it, other than its expected name. It is expected to arrive with stylus support and very thin bezels. That’s all we know, though.
We’re not sure if the company is planning to announce anything else, but probably not. This is plenty as is, as we’ll be getting four new products from the company, across three different categories of devices.
The Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Fit 5 Pro will certainly steal the spotlight, however. Those will almost certainly be the most popular products out of the bunch.
